SKUS Future Plan
SKUS Five Years Plan, July 2019– June 2024
In order to sustainable accomplishments and smooth operation, SKUS has made a five years Strategic plan
from 2019 to 2024 which will guide all future programming. Selected key areas of future programming are
as follows-
- Education program: Continue Non-formal Education for adults, adolescents, urban working children
- Child rights, Women development and empowerment: Continue work for marginalized women’s rights, GBV, Child Protection, skills and capacity building, IGA, networking and advocacy
- Small Economic Enterprise Development Programme (SEEDP): The Programme is intended to develop a mechanism for a relationship with the groups in the long run. It is for graduated groups of SKUS who would like to go into bigger investment projects. SKUS will create employment opportunities for the poor & shall provide Financial and technical assistance
- Environmental conservation and responses climate change programme: Strip plantation, block plantation & Nursery development and Homestead plantation, Climate change response through an appropriate measure
- Disaster reduction, Emergency relief & rehabilitation program: Work for emergency disaster preparedness, Distribute Emergency medicine Supplies (ORS, Tablet), Rehabilitation program among the affected people and Distribute Emergency Relief
- Human rights and good governance: To raise awareness of the disadvantages of illiteracy in society, reduce social discrimination, promote women’s rights and Good Governance.
- Conduct research work: To understand and identify the future areas of the program approach, and for finding replicable & innovative models for better improvement of our development activities
