This yearโs theme, “Promoting Multilingual Education: Literacy for Multilingual Understanding and Peace,” underscores the crucial role that literacy plays in individual growth, communication, and social cohesion.
As a national humanitarian organization, Samaj Kalyan O Unnayan Shangstha (SKUS) is proud to provide educational services through initiatives like the Community-Based Learning Facility (CBLF) with the support of BRAC pooled fund ensuring children in Camp 15 & 16 have the chance to learn, grow, and inspire progress within their communities.
World Literacy Day 2025 reminds us that while global literacy rates have improved, many still lack access to quality education. Letโs continue to work together toward ensuring that every individual, no matter their circumstances, has the opportunity to learn and thrive. Also, have organized the Reading competition, rally, and discussion meeting in the camps for the purpose of Literacy Day.
SKUS is committed to empowering community members, particularly women, by encouraging them to learn and at least ensure they can write their signature. It’s a small but significant step towardsย personal.
