Samaj Kalyan O Unnayan Shangstha (SKUS) is implementing a livelihood Skill development project, titled: โMeans to Leadโ partnership with Jago Nari Unnayan Sangstha (JNUS) and supported by UN WOMEN at Camp-03, 05 and the host community at Whykong Union, Teknaf. Delivering livelihood skills training to Women and Adolescent Learners is one of the major components of this project. In this livelihood skills development training, SKUS provided pre-vocational training on tailoring and handicraft production for Women and Adolescent girls. Under these two trades, SKUS trained 180 Women and Adolescent girls from the camp and host community.
After successfully completion the training course, SKUS distributed a package of materials support to the learners on July 14, 2024, Sunday at camps 03 & 05.
During the distribution event, the community representative, learners, project staff and senior management representative of SKUS were present.
